My Work

Lead nation’s leading effort to increase access to the arts for people with disabilities on a regional scale. by engaging 100+ organizations in 40+ accessibility workshops with 1600+ participants.

Distributed over $2 million through five funding programs supporting small and mid-sized arts organizations, individual artists and programatic accessibility improvements

Revised existing funding programs to apply grant making best practices

Developed extensive technical support system for grant applicants

Increased applications received between 40% and 85% across existing grant programs

Improved evaluation process by tracking racial/ethnic/gender expression and discipline distribution of applications, grants awarded, and panelists

Implemented field-leading changes to Artist Opportunity Grant program to slowly dismantle racial inequities

Created a Lift Grant program based on recommendations made during research for report on Racial Equity & Arts Funding in Greater Pittsburgh
